LaunchVic, Victoria’s startup agency, was established by the government to fuel the state’s startup ecosystem—building the confidence and capability of Victorians to create, scale and invest in startups.

The 2020 Victorian Startup Ecosystem Mapping Report analysed almost 1,900 local startups across sector, geography, demographics, and funding. The challenge was to present this data-rich content in a way that was both visually engaging and aligned with LaunchVic’s energetic and modern brand identity.

The report design used dynamic imagery, bold colourways, and well-structured layouts to create an engaging reading experience. Data and insights were brought to life through clear visual storytelling, ensuring the information felt accessible and inspiring rather than overwhelming.
